Still no comment from Moore.
Will heighten the absurd contradictions of the tax bill when corporations and the rich get a tax break and they can't steal from redistribution to pay for it.
This is crazy. When I left the house Jones went from +3k lead to Moore +12k.
Left thinking Moore had it wrapped up. How did Jones come back? Outrageous.
Would a deep blue state do what Alabama did tonight given the same circumstances? Something to think about. A lot of folks on the left dismiss the conservative south as simpleton moral hypocrites. I hope this helps lead to a renewed respect from those on the left in regards to southern conservatives and I hope they're more willing to consider our arguments and consider maybe that southern conservatives take morality more serious than was thought? Trump might have a rough time winning Bama next election if the left respects the conservative south.
Grumping about contradictions of the tax bill seems a bit lame when you're also grumping about stealing from redistribution.
Votes in Mobile, Birmingham, and Montgomery were counted and pushed Jones over the top
60k lead Moore had?
Thats insanity.
Not really, considering I strongly believe in the principle of re-distributive economic policy.
Based on your comments about less desirable elements of your family, I'm guessing that you've seen a fair amount of...leeching, for lack of a better word. I certainly have from similar relatives. How does that impact your thinking in regards to redistributive policies?

John Kasich, the Republican Governor of Ohio, is applauding Jones’ win. Wow.
Moore mentioned a recount being triggered. Please no. I’m a Republican voter, but you lost and mostly your fault. Concede gracefully

He's going to put a Roy Moore spin on Al Franken's path to victory by riding up and pulling previously unknown ballots from his saddlebags, six shooters in both hands and reins in between his teeth.
I strongly believe that my farts smell quite nice.
You guess right, and it doesn't affect my stance. I believe we should guarantee a basically quality-of-life level for all citizens, regardless of some "bad eggs". It's the same reason I reject centrist liberals' complaints about making public university education fully-subsidized, since a few rich kids might benefit from a "free" education they could otherwise afford. I don't believe in means-testing social supports, either way. I want the government to provide a base-level of functional livability, but I still want a people to be able to pursue higher ends and/or standards of living if that is their drive in life.
