Thanks, Enscheff
The red lot was ridiculous when I parked there. Not so much for getting in and out, but they charge $50 to park. If you spend $50 in the battery they will use that to validate parking but don’t validate if you spend $50 in the stadium
I’d like to stay at the Omni once but the rates for game days are through the roof
Southerners hate walking and mass transit.
Walking because...well you know.
Mass Transit because...well you know.
And oh boy, walking trails are totally out of the question.
Thanks, Enscheff

I am a life-long southerner. When I go to Suntrust, I stay at a hotel sort of, but not all that near the stadium. I walk. Before Saturday's game, if it's a night game, my wife and I will go hiking at Sweetwater Creek State Park. Pretty rugged hike, if you take the right trail. Then, that night, we walk to the game. We are 59 and 58, respectively.
Our semi-rutal southern town has walking trails, connecting to those of a near-by city. Just thought I'd set the record straight.
I don't think I'd trust anything from the person who believes Newcomb is going to be a bullpen piece.
As a local, I pretty much assume anyone who gets all butthurt about the parking situation at Suntrust as opposed to the Ted just has an agenda. Probably upset the Braves aren't "in Atlanta" anymore. There is not a single amenity measure where Sunny T doesn't smoke Turner Field. Get there early. Don't be a cheap idiot. Buy the parking pass or uber. Enjoy the Battery. And enjoy a walk to a Braves game that doesn't involved getting panhandled to death. Or stabbed.
A lot less blacks at suntrust too!
