This is stupid even for you....the numbers I JUST posted show the Thunder are +6.7 with RW. Without RW they are +7.4

Please share with him how those numbers jive with what you just said....this should be good.

My explanation would be that they destroyed teams so early on that they stopped playing towards the end of games and let up more points than they normally would. Without RW they have more close games.

You realize how dumb that sounds, right? You're a math guy, right....and you really posted that? Come on

Why does it sound dumb? If you are blowing out a team early and take your foot off the pedal the opposing team is going to be more efficient aren't they?

With Russ, they dont play a lot of close games and backups play more often. And give up more points, duh.

Without him, they have to work and play closer games.

Simple.

This is why it's stupid....

RW minutes by game:

33-33-30-30-35-34-38-32-32-41-31-31-30-34-32-35-28-31-33-36-28-35-35-30

Only once under 30 minutes and aside from the OT games he played between 32-35 minutes every game. Unless it's a complete blowout NBA teams play their players into the 4th, so your theory is never going to be true. Maybe a team rests it's stars the whole 4th .....4? 5? times a year. Teams stick to their rotations because everyone makes a run, unless you're the Bucks.

Minutes played is not indicative of where the game is headed.

It doesn't matter. I'm sure everyone is sick of hearing all this thunder talk.

Who is going to be the #1 pick this year? Embid?

It is when you're arguing the point you're trying to make....everything always averages out, which is why Heywards point makes no sense.

As for the draft...there's no wrong #1 this year...I would have no issues with Parker, Wiggins, Embid or Exum going #1. Anyone with a top 6-7 pick will be happy...it's a big drop after that (depending on who enters the draft) but a ton of rotation guys in this draft.

Love Kyle Anderson....someone with a late lotto pick/post lotto is going to get a stud when they draft him.

Did the white guy from Michigan regress a lot? I was hoping he would have come out last year.

Mcgary? He's injured....should've came out last year...just like MacAdoo, he was a top 10 pick after his freshman year and now he's an afterthought.

Why wouldn't Anderson be a top rated prospect? His stat line is sick for a sophmore. Does he lack top level athleticism?

Man, that guy is projected to be a late first round pick at this time. Would love it if the Thunder could use the Dallas pick (if they get it) on him.

Not a big time athlete, not sure if he can play PG in the NBA, not a good enough shooter to play to the 2/3, weak division. There are plenty of legit question marks about him but IF he can play PG in the NBA, watch out....his stock will rise as the year goes on, won't crack the top 10 though. The top part of the draft is just to loaded, especially if guys like Gordon, Vonleh, Stein, Grant, Harris, etc come out. A normal year and he's a top 10-13 pick.

I like Embid the most but i saw a report he and maybe Parker may go back to school.

Seem some Hakeem comparisons with Embid.

Looked clean to me!!! :elefant:

This is exactly what is wrong with the NBA. There is an official looking right at the shove and nothing gets called. It's because it's Durant and not some regular player. The league caters to the superstar players.

Oh come on now. There was acting in that as well as excessive pushing by KD. KD is not strong enough to get a guy moving that much.

Was this the push everyone was bitching about?

Was that the shot to give them the lead 109-107?

Seen worse not called.

It isn't just this blatant missed call. This type of missed call happens with regularity in the league.

And DMC was getting ready to move back and that is why KD pushed him back a few feet.

It was definitely a push off but not the worst one ever not called. The nba is a great product and the massively increased revenues are evident of that. The game hasn't been this popular in a long time and now we might see the reincarnation of Bird vs. Magic in the next few years.
