NBA Thread

Yeah that's probably true anyway. Indiana has zero offensive ability and they can't get a bucket when they need to as game 2 proved that. Paul George is an awesome talent, but when he struggles the Pacers are in trouble. You can't expect CJ or Earl Watson whichever guy it is to score 20 points. Also where has Evan Turner been all playoffs? He played early on in the Atlanta series, but I haven't heard his name since.

Evan Turner stinks. I thought he had a shot to be productive, especially in a bench role, but he's just not a good player. He does everything OK, except he can't shoot, and nothing good-to-well. And he doesn't have the hustle or work ethic to overcome any of those shortcomings.

Yeah I thought for sure he would flourish in Indiana. Thought he was around the right cast of teammates, but it's not working out. I would definitely take him in Atlanta, but I feel like he will get paid far too much.

Oh yeah and he's not a good defender.
He's a decent guy to have in a second rotation of players, but he also needs the ball in his hands to be effective.
Again, if he was a guy who really got after it on the court, he'd be more useful. I'm glad he's gone from Philly. I don't know who will pay him this year, honestly. His weaknesses are really weak, and he's not a competitor.

Let's stop talking about how much KD sucks and talk about the SIXERS.
If they end up with Parker and say...Stauskas at 10, the lineup of:
Noel
Thad Young
Parker
Stauskas
MCW

would be pretty solid. Super young and not ready to compete for a playoff spot, but lots of potential. Sign a guy like Stephenson, and let them grow together. Thoughts?

New Orleans will be good to go next season? Haven't heard how his rehab has been going? Stauskas gets abused defensively every game. I don't think he is starter material. Would be better served coming off the bench. If you signed Lance that's a good six man rotation though.

Sixers should be a solid developmental team. Maybe sneak into the 8th spot next year in the East with a promising future. Great draft to have two top 10 picks.

Even if they had spectacular games it wouldn't have mattered. The Spurs could have scored 150 last night if they wanted to. It was a joke of an effort all around.

Might matter if they show up defensively. Durant was awful last night.

I can't disagree. Instead of carrying the team they are sulking because of Ibaka's injury. I think RW was even pissed at KD last night for quitting early. Big knock on KD. But, he still has two years to win his first title at the same age that MJ/Lebron did. HOpefully the cheap ass owners will go over the cap and keep the core together. I still love the talent on the team.

Sadly, not a hugely surprising result.

Had SA in 5 when Ibaka was out.

SA is just getting way, way too many easy looks while OKC has to work for every bucket.

KD and Russ would of had to combine for 90-100 to have a shot last night.

Really wouldnt have mattered, SA has too many weapons.

Like i said before, not having Ibaka is the nutpunch to this series, means too much this series vs SA. Probably still lose but it aint this bad. SA is basically having a layup drill with him out.

Durant and Russ are the two best players in this series. They have no excuses.

So if you take out Wade or Bosh for the playoffs, Miami still wins a title?

Yes/No?

Dont think they win with Ibaka but no way in hell it's this bad.

Not sure Russ is that much better than Parker, maybe he's better but it aint by much.

KD, sure, but SA has much better role players (Green, Leonard, Splitter, Mills, Belli, etc)

And again, if Russ and KD (among others, but these two especially) were sooooooo good, they'd be able to get past the Spurs. At some point, if KD is an all-time great, he's got to be able to beat these teams.

Did KD rest in the 4th q of that blowout last night, btw?

Take out Bosh or Wade, would Miami beat SA?

Simple answer, yes or no.

Again, they probably lose but aint no way in hell SA gets this many easy looks with Ibaka at the rim. It's a layup drill.

Saw a stat, with Ibaka, OKC held SA to around 90-95 PPG, without him it's 120+ PPG, net effiecieny, or whatever.

That's if Miami can get past Indiana. Miami is garbage outside of Bron. Wade is above average when he's healthy.

Wade has been the best player for Miami this series.

Let the excuses flow.

Looks like they are already in if they lose (highly doubt it, they wanna get LeBron #3).

If Durant, Russ, and the supporting cast of OKC were as good as you touted, they wouldn't be getting crushed like they are. Plain and simple. LeBron with the same cast wouldn't be losing by 30.

They'd lose by 15-20, series wouldnt go past 5-6 with LeBron.

He's not gonna change SA having a layup drill all series long.

As good as he is, he cant do it alone.

Did i say anything not true?

- LeBron is the best SF in basketball.

- Wade is the best SG in basketball, defense counts.

- Wade has been uber-efficient this series, and the best player on Miami.

Nothing i said wasnt true, facts as always.

Lol off too many weapons. 40 year old Duncan, injured Tony Parker, washed up Ginobili, Danny Green and Kiwi Leonard.

****, I forgot Thiago Splitter.

STACKED!
