Just because you say something doesn't make it true, name the last big time player to say they wanted to sign in Philly, be traded to Philly or be in Philly? Iverson?

Just stop it, Philly is dead for the next 5 years, minimum, their roster is so poorly built it's a joke. They have already tried to trade MCW 10 times, so they have pissed off their best player. Do you think he's really going to stick around? Did you see his interview during the draft? Did he look happy?

Can't believe I'm even arguing this.....

Derozan isnt a FA, btw, pretty sure Tor signed him to an extension.

Now, yeezus does bring some interesting points with Knicks/Sixers.

MCW, Embiid, Noel is an ok top 3.

Probably will get another high pick next year in what looks like another great draft (not as good as this one but still good, not 2013 bad though)

Who will be better in the next 5 years, who knows, Sixers have more pieces/assets in place going forward. Knicks will have cap room next year but will anyone sign there if Melo bolts?

You have no idea if MCW was close to being traded. I don't think they ever had any intention of dealing him. Rumors said the Sixers offered 3,10, and 32 for #1 and that never happened. It was said they thought about trading MCW and drafting Exum, and they never had any intention of doing that. Rumors get spread, doesn't make them true. So you have no idea.
They drafted Payton, MCW was interviewed right after, and Payton was promptly traded. Again, no indication from anyone within the organization that they were going to deal MCW. It was all speculation.
Philly will have a lot of young talent while the Knicks have absolutely none. I like how you're not addressing any points and just repeating yourself.

1. Is Noel not talented?
2. Embiid?
3. Knicks plan?
4. Knicks have _______ to be proud of?
5. Why should I not laugh at the Knicks? Try to compete and are terrible. Impressive.

I think they'll deal him though (DeRozan), but if not him, someone will be available. I think Philly will be an attractive spot next off-season because of all the upside. Saric won't be here for another 2 years, but just another high upside piece. The Sixers will have a ton of cap space too.
MCW, Embiid, Noel, top 5 pick next year, McDaniels, Saric in 2 years. Lots of upside.
The Knicks have to pray someone will sign there because they've been run so poorly. I really like what the new GM is doing, and for what it's worth:

Hinkie says he has top 5 players begging him to take them. I believe it. #Sixers easily top landing spot

I trust Hinkie's words over Brules.
Still unclear why the Knicks shouldn't be laughed at. Isn't it worse to try and to fail miserably than to acknowledge you don't have a shot and look towards the future?
Not to mention taking Payton and trading him for Saric+2nd rounder next year + their 1st rounder back in 2017 was genius.

Definately a team on the rise, certainly, and lots of assets, which are used in trades. Their GM came from Morey i believe who is all about the same thing.

Lot of young talent, for sure.

Not sure if they can play Noel/Embiid together but thats a fantasic defensive duo inside.

Knicks have been poorly ran for years, not sure why BRule is saying anything. They've traded away picks for years, among many other things. Maybe Phil will turn them around but like what the Sixers are doing.

Sixers should be pretty good by the start of the 2015 season, Knicks are relying on signing FA's.

The Payton trade was good, although Orlando should be playoff good by then, if not then thats genius.

Trade rumors is what it is, pretty much every player has been in trade rumors at some point in time, it's part of the business of pro sports.

Yes, it is, i'd rather tank, be bad for a few years, than try to be good, and be in purputual mediocrity which is the worst place to be in sports which is what the Knicks have been lately. Cant suck to get a top pick, and not good enough to win/compete for a title.

The Payton trade gives the Sixers their pick that they traded away BACK. So it's not Orlando's pick, and it's unprotected.
I'm guessing I won't get a real response/debate. I mean, it's so obvious the Knicks are a lot better, so what's the point?

Noel is skinny, has no offensive game and hasn't played in a year plus.....Emiid has back and foot issues, which are big things for big men......MCW can't shoot.......Seriously, what is there to love about the 76ers future? Other than you saying they have "talent".....The Knicks are going to be 100% more relevant the next 5 years than Philly, their win totals won't even be close.

Also, DWade and Bosh all opted out.....Big 3 back probably with Kyle Lowry........****.

LOL what do the Knicks have? Again, they have to rely on bringing guys in because they are run horribly.
After next year, let's look at the next three years. If the Knicks don't get LeBron, the Sixers will be a better team in 5 years.
And again...why should I not laugh at the Knicks? Still don't get it. They are wholly laughable. Thought they'd compete and won 37 games in the East. No playoffs. No good draft picks. Absolutely devoid of anything resembling talent or depth. They will be terrible this year, and not intentionally.

And you still ignore the upside argument, which is the center of the argument. Noel and especially Embiid have great upsides. They will have a top 5 pick. The Knicks will try and win this season, will fail (again) and not have a good pick (again). And players do want to play here (as the quote I posted shows). The Knicks are a mess right now. The Sixers are an organized mess with a plan. The Knicks plan is to hand players a Phildo (Phil Jackson dildo) and say "you like???"

If Melo comes back, we have Melo.....if Melo doesn't come back we would have stupid cap space, so the rebuild would be rather quick. 2 max guys to go with Shump/THR/JR/Calderon/Early is better than 5 guys on their rookie contract with no max players because no one wants to sign in Philly.

How do you know no one wants to sign in Philly? With all the young talent they have/will have, I guarantee they will get a good piece.
MeLOL. Guy is not a centerpiece. I hope they try and win with just him again.
LOLOLOLOL Shump, JR, Hardaway, Calderon, Early? What? How is that good? The Sixers just drafted 4 guys in the 2nd round as good as those bums. LOL. What max guys will make them competitors? Melo won't (as we saw last year when THEY DIDN'T MAKE THE PLAYOFFS IN THE EAST), LeBron ain't going there. Who else ya got? And that depth is terrible. Terrible.

oh nvm the knicks have sammy dalembert and amare stoudemire. lol. There is no depth on that team. Really going to bring that group you posted as anything decent..what did that get them last year? Sixers will be better in 3 years. Knicks got nothing.

MJ had the same injury as Embiid, he had a decent career. MCW for a ROOKIE had a very good year, fair point on Noel.

Based on what with the Knicks, your dreams?

Lowry doesnt change much, ball dominant player with two more in James and Wade who looked toast in the last 2 games going on 33.

Napier and Cole would be just fine at PG.

LOL, yeezus dropping HAMMERS on BRule.

Sixers added KJ McDaniels (great, 3D guy), and some good depth guys in the 2nd round.

I'm not sure they'll get a LeBron type to sign there but someone would provided they have cap room, money talks.

2 max guys will sign there without Melo provided he leaves, which 2 max guys?

Name the superstar that signed with Philly or got traded and signed with Philly.......I asked you this 4 hours ago and you have yet to answer it.

So my only assumption is that you think stars are going to come to play in Philly because of MCW/Noel and Emiib? Lulz.

Also, Shump/THJ/JR/Calderon/Early is horrible depth BUT you said the 76ers have DEPTH......this is their bench Hollis Thompson/Elliot Williams/Henry Sims/McDaniels/Russ Smith/Grant hahahahahahahahahhahahahaha

Lebron gets to team up with more top players.

I loved Phil Jacksons first move as a GM. I think he knows what he is doing. I'll take the Knicks being better in three years. No way to know if those picks that philly has made or will make are any good. I think the Knicks will get the rebuild done without Melo.
