PJ3 isn't good, more than likely he ends being another Anthony Randolph.

Well his full skillset was on display last night. Its not like he had KD or RW on each side so he had wide open lanes. We will see what he becomes.

The scouting reports of perry Jones before the draft and after his first 2 years in the NBA haven't changed. They are backed up by stats. It's not about being an NBA GM, it's about having common sense. Even people that follow the team think Lance Thomas should be getting time over him.

What makes Jones a good shooter?

What makes him a good rebounder?

What makes him capable of creating his own shot?

I have WATCHED him do all those things and improve in the three years he has been with the Thunder.

Scouting reports absolutely do change. Players improve.

RW officially out 4-6 weeks

If they can somehow get to 5-8 wins in their first 20 games they can still make the playoffs as the 7th/8th seed.

This is going to be interesting. Reggie Jackson will be able to prove if he is as good as he thinks he is.

Anyone with his kind of talent has those games, Randolph had a bunch of them, just never is able to do it consistently.

I agree that consisteny is the issue. I think the fact that he will be force fed the ball it will force him to be more aggressive. Its human nature to just watch KD/RW do their thing and not do anything.

So you've watched him rebound and shoot well despite the numbers saying the opposite?

What about the others that follow the team like Anthony Slater that have a different opinion than you?

I'm allowed to share a different opinion than others. I love the thunder coverage from Slater/Darnel/Royce. Doesn't mean I always agree with them.

Also, stats in a small sample don't really tell us much.

That's fine and all but if stats show he hasn't shot well then how could you have seen that he's a good shooter?

Its about your release, rotation of the ball, and shooting arc.

If you have those things working in your favor then I believe you have the ability to be a good shooter.

I played a good amount of basketball growing up and I've watched a lot of it as well.

Do you disagree that those are the key components to good shooting?

I think the key is to actually make the shots. Is Rivers a bad QB bc he looks like a monkey screwing a football when he throws?

Was Reggie Miller a bad shooter bc of his awful form?

We are now going to see if he can make those shots as he gets consistent time. I've never been shy to admit I was wrong.

OKC is cursed.

Probably will miss the playoffs now with how deep the West is.

A late/mid round lottery pick isnt a bad consolation prize though.

Too bad for OKC. They were fun to watch, but their window is sealed up now it appears. They are going to have a completely different team next season.
