I don't think either of them think he's gonna be a "game changer". (Whatever the hell that is).
I think the only thing concrete I have read that either have said is that adding Okafor and another Max player to a healthy Melo would win 40 games. Which in the East really isn't that hard to do.

Since both are RFA's, only can go 4 years i think.
Better pill would offer a short-term max for them where they could hit FA after 2 or 3 years like the Parsons deal.

Everyone here has only brought up that OKC avoids the luxury tax. OKC avoids the luxury tax line like the plague.
Ergo, OKC is cheap.

OKC is one of only 6 teams to have never spent over the luxury tax.
Also, you will notice that Dallas is one of the most frequent violators on this list. I remember the times when you said Cuban doesn't go over the tax. Good times indeed.
