NBA Thread

You posited this as fact. It is not a fact that the Kings Lakers series was fixed. That narrative arose after the Donaghy scandal. This is a conspiracy theory. What other games can you think of that we're fixed? Try to come up with examples that aren't 15 years old.

There's zero evidence to suggest any draft ever was fixed. Zero. At least with Kings/Lakers you could point to some shaky calls, but the draft you have nothing.

I'm not arguing this anymore, it's a fortificial fact the NBA is fixed, but you and others like BRule can believe otherwise.

So the Bulls who had less than TWO percent chance get DERRICK ROSE FROM CHICAGO, yes no coincidence there wink wink.

And many, many more examples.

You haven't posted one fact aside from saying its a fact and referencing one playoff series from 15 years ago that has minimal evidence and is pure speculation by conspiracy theorist. The only proof that any NBA games were fixed was by Tim Donaghy and that had nothing to do with the NBA.

This makes me laugh. It really does

So the Bulls just won the lottery, got a hometown guy with a 2 percent chance or less to win it?

Makes sense.

The Cavs get Wiggins with the LeBron rumors, among others.

The lottery is a little fixed.

At 2% you would expect a team with those odds to win it once every 50 years. The draft lottery has been around since 1985 (almost 30 years), and Chicago is the only 2% team to ever win the lottery from my understanding.

If you have a 30 drafts and a 2% chance of winning the lottery, then the odds of at least 1 team winning the lottery are 45%. Maybe the odds aren't high in any given year, but over multiple seasons it's a pretty likely event.

Summary, your argument that the draft is fixed because a team with a 2% chance of winning won is silly, unfactual, and based purely off of regurgitated hot takes you have either read on the Internet or heard on sports radio.

Philly is better than people realize. Not sure what they are going to do with Embid/Noel because Noel is turning out to be a real big asset. If Embid is good can you play both together? I think thats a spacing nightmore but Noel might be one fo the best defensive bigs in the league.

Do you trade him for a couple of first round picks?
