Not even close to the same, if you listened to the podcast he makes a comment saying he knows this is crazy and is basically just saying it because he really like KJ and he doesn't believe the comp.
Good try though.
He qualifies is because he knows its crazy but its what he actually believes. In hte first month of the year he was all over this comparison.
They aren't the Wizards.

Go look up Noel's comps......the highest percentage is Larry Sanders. You know it's okay that every player doesn't have a crazy comp right? Like, some players just end up being pretty good and not great........not sure if you realize this or not.

Russ in LA and KD is Washington with OKC having Ibaka and Kanter with Billy Donovan on the bench is going to be AMAZING.
I don't care about a players comp which is based on a statistical output after a player has had 1 season. I didn't see Ratliff play all that much so its hard for me to say whether he is that player or not. It doesn't change the fact that I think Noel is going to be a stud in the modern form of how the NBA is played.
Even if that happens I will still have comfort that Presti will be able to draft great players and another cycle of entertaining basketball will start again.

He has talent but he is nowhere close to a stud right now. You cannot be a stud being a negative on offense. You cannot be a stud when you're team is better with you on the bench than with you on the court.
For him to be a stud he's going to have to make tremendous strides on offense. If not, he's going to be at best Tyson Chandler. (Has a ways to go for that)

Well the Hawks have played like ballsack and tried their best to pull an Atlanta sports team so far in this series. But up 2-0, so I guess there's that.

It's concerning that the Hawks cannot for the life of them put the Nets away.
Winning is all that matters, but against every other team in playoffs they lose these first two games. Play like this against Washington and they are being sent home. Need to play a full 48 minutes.
