When the pieces traded for Harden come close to the player Harden is.

If the players come close to Harden then isn't it a good trade?

I'm not asking anyone to say it was a good trade. Just making people realize that it wasn't this LOL worthy deal. Do you remember yours and Brules reaction when it was made? Thunder got one year of Kevin Martin plus Lamb/Adams (Both starters) and another first round pick as well as a high second round pick that they used to trade up.

Yeah, Harden for 1 year of Martin and 2 players that one day may be league average starters if they reach their potential?

Jeremy Lamb is going to be better than league average. I guarantee that. Put it in your sig. Whatever you want. I've watched him now for a decent period of time. That guy has legit skills and is a pure shooter.

Adams is still really raw but while I love his potential brings more variability into the equation. He will be a starter because the center position isn't as deep as others.

Have you seen Lamb play this year?

He's been extremely good off the bench.

Ok, he's a gunner off the bench....which is what I said he was. He contributes nothing other than scoring. Congrats, you traded James Harden for Nick Young, you win.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Its really funny. You said this guy was going to shoot sub 35%. Enjoy his performance my friend.

Watch some of the games he has played already and tell me he is only a shooter. He will be a starting 2 guard in this league. I hope its with OKC but they might want to put more of a defensive precense in the lineup next year when Thabo leaves (probably Roberson).

There is no chance that will happen, Harden is arguably a top 10 player.

But the pieces they got back can add up and even it out somewhat.

Fair or not, they need to win a title though.

LOL, his mid-range game is much improved, his release is insanely quick and he hasa long reach and can deflect a lot of passes, get steals.

Averages 0.7 steals per game in limited minutes.

Nick Young, lol.

You're right, he does all these magical things....he just, somehow, doesn't get credit for any of them. Which is weird, because there is a stat for everything now....but you're right, I'm sure.

Yeah, with the little I've seen him, he actually does remind me of Nick Young. Nick is a pretty good scorer and can defend ok if he puts 100% into it (doesn't always). But, his skillset is limited bc he doesn't create any shots for his teammates and he doesnt rebound. So, he Wows people when they watch him bc he can put the ball in the basket as a 3rd option (or worse), but really doesn't do a lot of other things well. And if more focus was put into stopping him, he probably wouldnt score all that well either.

Listen, a guy like you who only looks at stat sheets don't see these things. Thats why I've been right on how good the Thunder players were for years. I see it coming because I actually watch them play.

You'll see.

I haven't seen Nick Young on an extended basis so its hard for me to make that connection. We will see what Lambs ceiling is. He has been excellent at creating shots for others this year.

You're right, AGAIN! Not like I watched him his entire career at UConn or anything.

Lamb averages more assists (small sample) in 21 minutes a game which is more assists per game than Young ever averaged and in some seasons a significant amount of more minutes. You guys just don't watch him play if you say he can't setup his teammates.

Yeah, I'm sure you watched every game.

But even if you did. How relevant is watching an 18/19 year old kid? Didn't he win the MVP of the final four?

Lamb gets to pass to KD and RW....Nick Young passed to god knows who on those horrible Wizard teams. Completely the same situation
