Who he replaces means nothing. And all I have said is that Lamb is a solid player who will be an above avearge starter. So what extremes have I been saying.

You basically called him a bum at the start of the year. Who is closer to being wrong in this situation?

Lamb gets to pass to KD and RW....Nick Young passed to god knows who on those horrible Wizard teams. Completely the same situation

Lamb runs with the second team mostly and OKC runs a REAL second team. I would say the highest percentage of his assists are going to Nick Collison.

Right now, Lamb has posted a higher PER than Nick Young ever has. Will that keep up? I think so but only time will tell.

Maybe I'm drunk....or looking at the wrong numbers BUT....Lamb has a PER of 11.28 for the year. Nick Young posted higher PERs in every year of his career but 2 and currently has a higher PER.

For the year, thus far, Lamb is at an AMAZING net of +1! WOW!!!! Nick Young is at a +1.6

Technically he replaced Martin.

Jackson replaced Harden's role actually.

With Russ playing.

Sigh.

I ****ing love Luol Deng. Dude's my second favorite player in the NBA, after Joakim Noah.

Looks like the Bulls are officially tanking. Here's hoping the Bobcats snare the eighth-seed, too: the Bulls now need all the lottery picks they can nab in this draft.

Smart move by the Bulls. It was time. Tibs is too good of a coach and the team would have foolishly won too many games. They need to get a lottery pick in the worst way.

Hypothetical situation:

Durant finishes with a higher PER and OKC has the #1 seed. Does he get the MVP award over Lebron?

Really hope the Heat take a chance on Bynum

I either hope they don't or they do and Bynum ruins it for them!

But what will probably happen is that they sign him and he regains he Laker form and they storm through the NBA on route to their three peat.

Bron is the best player in the NBA, he SHOULD win MVP every year....he won't though.

As for Bynum....he has said he doesn't love basketball and doesn't even want to play. Why anyone would want him is beyond me....plus he has no knees.

I agree that Bron is easily the best player in the league but would he be the most valuable in a given season. Durant is having a hell of a season.

Yes he is but Bron is having an all-time great season. 25/7/7 with a 59/40 shooting slash...a SF is shooting 60% from the field and 40 from deep! Sucks for KD that he is playing at the same time as an immortal but it is, what it is.

Again, if KD has a higher PER and other metrics while brining the Thunder to the #1 seed in a ridiculously loaded western conference then I think he deserves the award. It just means he was more valuable this season. I know I say the same thing every year but KD gets better every day and is unbelievably having his best season yet. Its exciting to think that he could be even better in the future. He has really turned himself into an excellent defensive player.

Believe me, I am one of the loudest supporters of Lebron in saying that he is the best player of all time. I think though its fair to say that KD could be having a better season.

He's good but missing Ibaka and Russ, its not a totally surprising result.
