Wow, the Hawks are smoking the Cavs in Clevand without Teague.

Eastern Conference playoffs after the first round is going to be real interesting.

Dallas just plays beautiful basketball. You wonder if Carlisle would have won 5 titles if he had Duncan/Manu/TP.
 
Rondo to Dallas is apparently agreed on in principle.

Jameer Nelson, Wright, and Crowder. Plus a first and a second.

This is why Dirk a lot less money. Cuban assured him he would continue to put pieces around him. Can't see Dallas trading away these young talents without getting a pretty good idea that Rondo would re-sign there.

Not quite for free: Brandan Wright's a solid complimentary player, and there are picks. But, asset-wise, it isn't much of a risk for Dallas—chemistry's another matter, though.

Regardless, it'll be great for Rondo, in terms of his next contract. He may average fifteen assists over the remainder of the season.
 
Jimmy Butler is becoming one of my favorite players in the league. It's crazy how much he's improved. I remember him as a defensive player. Especially back in the playoffs I think two years ago. He's overall a great player and has no weakness at this point.

I don't want to say I called this, so I'll just say Butler's awesome.
 
On the same subject: Pau Gasol has gone from a player I really liked to one of my favorite players ... and it helps that we go to the same operas/opera-house.
