NBA Thread

My apologies. I lumped it into the rest of the nonsense you spewed.

Btw, three straight Waiters air balls. Including a free throw.

And hit a big 3 to seal the win.

Had four steals.

NEVER SAID IT WAS A GOOD MOVE.

For the trade of a late pick, and Lance Thomas, it was a risk worth taking.

@haralabob: .@JonesOnTheNBA If i was GM of a team and had the space, i’d offer him a max. Not close.

Bob Voulgaris said that in relation to Dray Green.

I don't agree with him, but I do find that noteworthy. Bon is a bonaride genius.

I don't see how there is any question. All you have to do is watch the warriors play and see that Green is their second most valuable player.

He knows his ****. I wonder if that assumes 1 or 2 other max guys on team and some min deal vets?

Not sure why that matters. Green is a fantastic player on both sides of the ball.

I don't think he will ever be the type to be a #1 type guy but I think he is settling into a very good Scottie Pippen role right now with less scoring ability but slightly better passing.

Pippen was perfect for Jordan. Green is perfect for splash bros and bogut.

If Green is your go to guy, youbare going tonhave trouble scoring, hes not going to create any shots. He could play next to a guy like Melo for sure. But put him on a team as the lead dog and it wont make sense. Hes just not the type of offensive player you want leading the team.

I don't think Green can be a go to guy of course but every team is going to have talent and Green is a great glue guy that makes the players around him better.

The amount of live ball turnovers that he creates (blocks/steals) gets so many easy baskets. The fact that he is a great rebounder and is able to push the ball up on his own is a tremendously underrated skill.

I get that he isn't a top 5-10 player. I'm not trying to make this claim but I just think from the very beginning you have undersold this guy. He is only going to get better and will easily command a max deal. If I were the Knicks I'd be all over this guy.

Hes not a great rebounder, hes a solid one. There areat least 3-4 on his team that are better rebounders.

Hes a good defensive player that is decent at hitting open 3s. He fits perfectly on GS bc of the players sround him.

Not a great rebounder? Seriously GF do you ever watch them play? GS is able to do what they do largely in part to how versatile Green is.

Waiters played well yrsterday. I think he carve out a nice role on the team if he gets minutes.

JR a lays had a great deal of talent.
