NBA Thread

You can't control yourself, man. Also, isn't it time for a new avatar?

Medlen was always one of my favs. I got to speak to him on one of Shanks shows and he was just a cool dude. It may go back to a Westbrook avatar one day.

Read the last few pages then come back and ask me.

I want to subject myself to reading that. Without looking I am guessing some Harden is the greatest player ever talk, Klay stinks, Harden is a good defender, and the daily attacking thethe.

Dude, Mitch is going to be a good player. Nothing great but a really nice NBA player.

Just so we can talk later; how good? I remember the Jeremy Lamb talk and the Perry Jones talk. Just give me something....like he'll be as good as Nick Collison? Better?

I was wrong about Perry. Like BRule noted many times the guy just doesn't have hte motor to be successful.

I am still strongly in Lambs court. Hard to get time on a championship level team as a young player when you can't play defense yet. He will have his time in the pros.

McGary will be a better version of Collison when he was good. Depending on his conditioning level he may even be a tick higher than that. Borderline starter on a good team.

Collison has a career average of 6 & 5 with no blocks and steals.....not sure how that qualifies as "good".....if you're saying McGary will end up being the 7th or 8th guy off the bench, sure, I'll go with that.

Collison was always better than his stats would suggest. I know you'll just laugh at that but I'm ok with it. Collison of a few years ago was a HUGE part of the Thunder success.

McGary will be a better player than that and more of a boxscore type of player as well. McGary has legit skills for a man his size. Can finish around the rim with both hands and is ability to pass the ball on the move.

Collison is a solid bench piece for a good team but he's no more than 15-20 MPG guy and the 7th-8th-9th guy off your bench. Just not sure how you can say someone is going to be "good" then compare them to Nick Collison.

Collison WAS much better than that a few years ago. Now, he is a guy you don't want to play for more than 10 minutes a game if you can avoid it. Being better than what Collison was at his peak is a borderline starter on a good team.

No. It's none of that.

It's thethe and I discussing Kanter.

Try reading next time.

Ps: very ironic you criticize me for praising Harden and "criticizing" Klay when you were the one that started this with the initial trashing of Harden.

He's like Carmelo. Good player, but is a liability on defense and will never win a ring. I call em like it is. Sorry if that hurts you.

kD is having trouble keeping his mouth shut at the moment.

And yet he isn't responding to other peoples questions/comments. He decided to choose that one to reply to. Don't think that KD isn't seeing how the team is playing with him right now iwth him on the sideline. Thunder are playing as well as they've played all year without two of their starters.

He woukd probably have one if OKC kept him. He has a good chance in Houston.

Not unless they get rid of Dwight.

Past 2 years the iso ball hasnt worked, we'll see if the refs swallow the whistle and dont let him go to the FT line as much.
