Augusteis 6-10 250. Do you have NDs shot chart?

And then they had nobody else that was even close to matching his size.

Again, they had a sizeable amount of points in the paint at the points in the game that I watched. If Okafor can't dominate a bunch of undersized kids from ND what chance does he have in the NBA to do that?

He will score becuase he has big talent offensively. But, he is not a great athlete. Not sure how you could watch him play and think otherwise. He is graceful and has excellent footwork so it works on offense.

In 19 starts Rudy Gobert is averaging 10 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and 3 blocks. Jazz are 12-7 in those 19 games.

Sick....Its only going to get better for the Jazz. West is going to be even better next year.

West is nasty and it's constantly reloading it feels like. It's impossible to predict until free agency happens, but as of right now I think the west playoff teams look like this.

GS

OKC

Houston

Portland

Clippers

Then depending on free agency/retirement

San Antonio (depends on Duncan, but they should still compete for a lower seed without him)

Memphis (if Gasol leaves then I think they fall out)

Then the teams that will compete for the last couple of spots

Dallas (I think they are about done. They look like they need a rebuild)

NOP (they need to add players. I can't imagine Davis being any better at all)

Utah (really need to add strong wing players. Kyrie Middleton is beyond perfect)

Phoenix (I have this suspicion that they might fall off again)

Gasol isn't going anywhere. That teams fits real well together. I definitely see Utah making hte playoffs next year. Rodney Hood is showing some signs.

@ChrisVernonShow: Asked two scouts at Grizzlies game last night about Okafor or Towns. Both said Towns. I was kind of surprised.

@SherwoodStrauss: Towns can potentially hit 3s and protect the rim. Would rather invest in that possibility than in a post player who scores a lot

@SherwoodStrauss: Okafor seems like the guy you draft 10 years ago. Could still be the right pick, just don't think taking him 1st makes sense

as always, I just know more about basketball than people like BRule and giles. It's okay guys. You know more than me about some things, probably, I'm sure.

Okafor at best will be an average defensive center. Thats if everything breaks right and he gets in shape.

Two more (that I've seen) phantom fouls today for Westbrook—plays where he drives, is literally untouched, and somehow gets a whistle anyways—but yet he just elbowed Noah in the throat and the refs call nothing.

You have seen wrong!

Nope. One play in particular I reviewed a few times to be sure: Snell strips Westbrook, (all ball, no call); Westbrook does a good job keeping his momentum, however, and recovers the ball after the strip; but then he stumbles—entirely untouched—yet somehow Snell is whistled for a foul, despite the fact that he's a few feet behind the play and was literally unable to touch Westbrook at that point. That one was especially blatant.
