NBA Thread

I'm not a fan of trashing your former employee. I wouldn't want to max Kanter anyway.

Based on how "happy" he is in OKC it might not take max to get him. I'd love to have him for the next 4-5 years at 12M per year considering the increase in cap. Hell, even 14 would be nice.

He's not taking a "discount" all these quotes should tell you what kind of mindset he has. He's not a winning player, he's a me first guy. Very talents on O but not someone I'm giving 40-60 mil to.

Not really sure that these quotes prove he is a "me first" guy. I don't like trashing your old location though. Not sure how he is supposed to answer the questions but when you read the transcript and listen its not as bad as you would think.

If he stays this "happy" then I'd love for him to stay. I don't think he is faking what he is showing on the court (nothing to do with his production).

Havent seen it but Reading most people that have are heavily criticizing him.

Says a lot when the team you leave is very happy you are gone.

Apparently Kanter does not care for the Utah Jazz organization.

Makes sense he wasn't happy. He had to play ahead of superior players. I'm sure he felt embarrassed to be shown up consistently every night and have the fans clamoring for your benching can't make you too happy.

I don't care about the Utah pick. That player won't be as good as Kanter but losing a pick for Waiters hurts.

I just read the blog on ESPN and some quotes, not THAT crazy.

Some people are taking it overboard.
