It's fine. They are replacing Steven Adams minutes with Enes Kanter. I'm sure it won't matter. The teams they play against don't know how to run the pick and roll.

Again...as long as you have one rim protector you can somewhat game plan around. Thunder wings are highly versatile and can switch any PNr. It's workable.

Maybe if Thibodeau ends up in OKC. If top-three defenses are possible under him with Boozer logging significant minutes, I think he could scheme around Kanter.

Pairing Thibs with 3 oft-injured stars is a really bad idea but I get what you're saying.

Thibs may be the only coach that would increase the minutes of Westy/Durant over what Brooks does.

Hopefully it'll be moot and he'll be in Chicago again next year—he still has several years left on his contract.

I've been pretty impressed with his minutes management during March—though it helps a lot that (a) everyone but Rose is back on the court, (b) Snell has become a competent who actually helps the defense a lot when he's out there next to Butler instead of Dunleavy, (c) Mirotić has exploded and become their best +/- player.

I dont know if KD stays, but no team has a better supporting cast if OKC retains Kanter.

Yes, his defense is terrible but you can scheme around it.

Eh... The best supporting cast? If he really wanted to be could go to Golden State. With the cap raises there are going to be a lot of teams that could squeeze him under their cap. Also there's zero guarantee that Russ won't leave the very next year.

Also, you can't just easily scheme around your center being the worst defensive big in basketball. It's possible if you have super elite perimeter defenders (although Ibaka helps a lot).

I'm talking of teams with the cap for him.

It will most likely only be OKC or Was.

GS already has alot of huge salaries on the books as is.

Green at a near max, Klay, Steph eventually on a max, and Bogut, Lee, Iggy all make 10+ mil.

Barnes is due a new deal after next year as well.

I was talking realistically when teams like Mia, Brooklyn, LAL, Knicks, etc are mentioned.

If Chi could scheme around Boozer, OKC could around Kanter, and already had this convo. Again, if they leave, it's because they dont want to be in OKC, not because of what other teams have on it's team.

No one else has the supporting cast OKC does when they're healthy.

Russ and Ibaka? Did I miss a couple surgeries there?

Russ was ironman before Beverely, and he hurt his hand going up for a rebound, and got kicked in the face injury going for a rebound, flukish stuff.

And Ibaka minus this year pretty much played in every game once he got moved into the lineup, learn to read junior. This is pretty much the only injury Ibaka has had unless you got another you're making up here.

Same goes for KD, he's played in basically every game minus THIS YEAR if you could read which judging by your post, you cant.

OKC can offer Russ and KD the most money, so there's that.

I get why there is so much talk about KD/RW leaving but there has been absolutely zero reason to believe that they would leave. Those guys are so entrenched with the community and organization that I think it can be objectively viewed that they will never leave. Not saying its a guarantee but I'm expecting KD/RW to be in an OKC jersey for a long time. Plus, those guys are real tight and want to play together.

OKC will probably lose this game because they're depleted with injuries but Morrow is ridiculous.

Some one please ask Westbrook about the defense tonight.

So, OKC is durable yet injuries are used as the excuse they've never won a title. Seems strange.
