Regarding Donovan, not sure how he'd do but Presti is a smart guy.

So i'll just let it be.

Gentry isnt bad but i think Presti wants something new. And the GS system is more Kerr than Gentry.

He was there for 18 years......of course the 2 titles make everything perfect but he needed ELITE NBA players to win....other than that he flames out early every year.

Every coach needs elite players.

So you're pretty much making no sense with that.

Cal does, K does, etc.

Congrats on beating a broken down Mavs team.

If they beat SA, if they can close out LA, i'll give him serious props.

If not, prepare for the slander.

That's an entirely different thing from saying "He will lose in the first round." You don't get to revise your claim because his first round team isn't Golden State.

The Rockets are not better than the Spurs. Why would I expect them to beat San Antonio?

Great first quarter for the Hawks. Followed by a subpar second quarter. At least they haven't relinquished the lead yet. My boy Alan Anderson is going off for the Nets though!

It will never cease to amaze me how every Atlanta sports team forgets how to play their given sport come playoff time. Just going through the motions.

He beat a broken down Mavs team, why am i supposed to give him credit for that?

They could have rested Harden and still won, big deal.

He played well but im not gonna go crazy over it like you

I really don't know what to expect out of a Billy D as a head coach at the professional level. It will be interesting to see. I've always considered Billy to be somewhat overrated at the college level...good recruiter, average in game coach, slightly above average team builder, and good at player development so I'm not sure he's the right guy at this particular time in OKC.

I actually think Billy would be better for a younger team where he could command more respect and work at building individual skills and build something, I just don't think he's a guy that is one if those to put you over the top.

As a pistons fan I always liked Gentry. During this tenure here I thought he did a good job considering the circumstances (the roster he had to work with was Hill, Stack, a bunch of trash, and an aged Dumars) and I believe he's improved significantly since then especially as an offensive mind.

Stein says it's pretty much a done deal.

In before BRule.

Very risky, but Presti trusts in Presti.

Donovan is an awesome coach. He won 2 titles and made 4 Final Fours (and a bunch of Elite 8s) at FLORIDA. You know how hard it is to win at an SEC school that isn't Kentucky? He's elite. Great hire.

Benjo (DC)

Are the Nets just a bad matchup for the Hawks or are the Hawks in trouble this round or beyond? They look banged up a bit and everyone is just a little off from earlier in the season, which adds up... thanks, Amin!

Amin (3:47 PM)

A little of column A and a little of column B: Nets size definitely attacks Hawks major weakness, but Hawks lacking Sefolosha continues to haunt them

Hmmm....Someone else mentioned this before I thought.
