NBA Thread

The NBA couldn't make that 3 Irving hit in Curry's face that pretty much decided the game. The Cavs outplayed 'em and deserve it.
 
I find it interesting that everyone claims the NBA isn't predetermined, fixed, rigged, etc. However out of the four playoff series Cleveland played three of the coaches openly admitted the calls were going Cleveland's way and each received a fine. I think these coaches are onto something. Looking at Steve Kerr's reactions specifically in game six it was like he knew there wasn't a chance Cleveland allowed to lose that game.

Bobby Cox got thrown out of a bajillion games in his career and he won most of them. Do you think MLB was conspiring against the Braves?

Saying that the league leans towards certain teams/players is one thing. Saying it is rigged is another. That would mean the Warriors missed all those shots and scored only 13 points in the 4th quarter on purpose. That's rigging and fixing the game.

or that the refs somehow made them only score 13 in the 4th and miss all of those shots.

tin foil hat rubbish....... you know how you can tell the NBA isn't "fixed" the betting odds. the gamblers would know about a fix, someone would leak it, but the odds were still in favor of golden state.

fixing the NBA finals would involve thousand of people, all who have friends, so none of these people talked? are you also a 9/11 Truther? (it would explain the ignorance and complete lack of common sense about how the real world works if you were)

Kings getting screwed by the refs against the Lakers in the 2002 conference finals is the last true screw job by the NBA.

I have lived in the real world and done things in the real world that I can safely assume you haven't.

With all the money involved in pro sports it's naive to say that there isn't something going on.

I'm 43 years old, ex military, lived around the world, and am active in skepticism where things like evidence are important. Idle speculation and ignorance of occam's razor in favor if "well,I've done stuff you haven't man and that makes my opinion a fact" is total, hilarious ,crazy people, horse dookey.

You mean coaches think there teams got shafted on calls? How often would that even happen?

Please explain how guys can pre determine whether they make shots or not. That is an interesting concept.
