BTW, not sure if you had a chance to see him yet this year buddy but Steven Adams is absolutely a player. Not sure what his ceiling is but he will be a NBA center for 15 years.
 
I'm on board. Steven Adams is legit. Detroit has one of the bigger more talented front courts in the NBA and Adams did great tonight. Kid has offensive skills, is a rim protector, and really athletic for his size. Presti did it again!

I thought this kid wouldn't see minutes in OKC this year. Guy is very skilled. I hope you have had a chance to see him play this year.

So because he dropped 17 vs an awful Pistons team, that makes him legit? He's 7 feet tall, unless your first name is Andrea or Brook and you're that tall, you're going to rebound.

Wait a second....Pistons may or may not be good but their front court is a legit NBA front court and Adams held his own out there. You don't think that is a good sign?

How much to do you think he has to do with KD/RW on the team? I know you have seen some of OKC the past few years but do you have any idea how many point blank opportunities Perkins has blown per game over that time? Adams is going to get 4-8 points a game of just easy dunks or put backs. Then another couple of points based on his overall skill. His defense is as good as advertised.

He still commits some stupid ass fouls that he needs to correct and finds himself out of position on the PnR way too much but the kid is a rookie and what he has done so far is encouraging. ****, the guy is even a solid passer for a big man.

A big man that can actually catch the basketball and put it in the basket was the missing ingredient for this team. Westbrook isn't even close to 100% yet and they are destroying teams again like they did last year. Ultimately, they will still need another guy to step up and hit shots from three. I think that guy is going to be Lamb who has looked 1239723490175023X better than last year but we still have to let the season play out. This team could end up being better than last years team. Its amazing how much better KD is when he has RW on the court. Its like night and day.
 
Listen, I'm not going to commit all this time to arguing about some backup center. You go nuts over your own players, I'll put OKC players down to piss you off.....if you think Adams is some sort of stud, enjoy...but the NBA season is like, a week old....and he had 1 good scoring game, against one of the worst teams in the NBA. Once again, if that gets you off, more power to ya. I just don't care enough about Steven Adams to continue arguing about the 5th game of the NBA season.

I love how you don't answer questions that hurt your argument.

Centers have not torched the Pistons so far this year. Adams had about as good of a game so far this year against the Pistons as any other big man in the league.

PF/C combo outside of the Boston game....which is a GREAT sample of 2 games....13/9 on 50% shooting.

I can't believe you couldn't even wait for 2 weeks into the season, you're hopeless.
