This is a perfect example of my problems with cops. Just blatant constitutional violations. This is a crime by the cop. Not an accident. Not a mistake. And IAD who are supposed to hold corrupt cops accountable says this isn't just fine. What good is the constitution if copsnlike this can violated it with no fear of being held criminally accountable.
One woman shoots and kills another woman knocking on her door. Cops dont immediately arrest the shooter. Only after outrage from the community do they arrest the shooter. Sherrif claims that because they shooter claimed self defense they couldnt arrest her until an investigation. They just make this **** up and apply it when they want to. They certainly dont need any time to investigated when someone claims self defense when they shoot a cop. Then its straight to jail and investigate later.
Body cams are destroying the myth that drug sniffing dogs are impartial. Something I have been saying for years. Their handlers can influence them to alert through signals and sometimes even unconsciously do it. The biggest tell to me is the hostility towards doing a double blond test kn the dogs. If the handler knows where the drugs are when doing the testing we aren't getting an accurate test of the dog. This whole **** is corrupt but nonetheless Republicans will defend it unless it happens to someone they like
Man found not guilty of attempted murder after taking cops gun and attempting to shoot her. He should go to prison forever but its nice to see cops get a taste of their own medicine for once. Feels really ****ty when someone tries to murder you and gets away with it doesnt it. Assholes. Wheres their respect for the legal system now.
The city of Dearborn on the hook for 9.2 million because this cop beat up and falsely arrested a man for asking for directions. Apparently he was butt hurt that the guy was asking someone else after having just asked the cop a few minutes earlier. The cop got a 1 day suspension..... two years later. There is no one who can watch this and think the cop acted reasonably. We solve policing when we put cops who do this **** in prison. Will it mean some crimes go unsolved. Sure, but this man was beaten up, kidnapped, and human trafficked yet it wont show on any stat sheet as a crime. Because the person doing it had a shiny badge its not a crime. Its a workplace violation..... If we included rights violated by cops in the crime stats it would change how we people view crime. What good are the cops when they are the ones you need protecting from.
This is a great example of systemic corruption within policing. A cop commits domestic violence and there is just a staggering level of corruption surrounding it. The responding officers dont arrest him despite witnesses and his own statements saying he threatened his family with a knife. Those officers who let the DV suspect go got promoted. Despite saying in the bodycam footage that he will conveniently lose the bodycam footage to protect the DV cop. The actual good cops 2 Detectives arrest the DV cop and charge him. A Judge magically voids the warrant for unknown reasons. The two detectives get railroaded out of the department. Meanwhile the DV cop and the officers who let him go because he was a cop have all gotten promotions. The department tried to delete all bodycam footage but someone in the DA's office made a copy before they could erase it. The AG integrity unity looked at all this and said yep, nothing wrong here. These werent bad apples these were cops that knew the game. Cover up for fellow cops or else face the consequences. Its hard to blame cops for protecting their own interests in these situations. The problem is we know this goes on and theres almost never anything done about it even when its crystal clear like this case. Like I said I dont blame these individual cops, but at some point we need to start making examples of someone. Cops wont stop doing it until they fear going to prison for doing it. Meanwhile the cops who actually were honest got railroaded. Why would they even want to stay in law enforcement after something like this. The accountability system built within policing is used to weed out good cops more than it is to weed out the bad cops. When your in good standing with other cops they let all the little **** go. When you rat on other cops all of a sudden being 5 minutes late gets you an official reprimand. Every ticky tacky thing they can even accuse that cop of they will. To ruin their reputation and attempt to drive them out of the job. Its easier for a cop who got their city sued for millions of dollars to get a job in another department than it is for a cop who ratted on other cops. Thats what happens when your crimes are paid for by other peoples money. Who cares if he gets us sued for millions of dollars. Not out money. If it came out of police pensions do you think they would risk hiring a cop who is prone to causing big lawsuits?
Woman calls 911 and cop shows up and tries to shoot her Pomeranian dog and hits the woman in the shin. For context Pomeranian dogs are 3-7 pounds and the woman was standing right next to another cop. Imagine a scenario where a 5 pound dog runs up to you and you pull out your gun and try to shoot it but hit a cop. You think your going home that night sleeping in your own bed? Even in that scenario if you didnt even hit a cop but one was present they immediately point their gun at you and disarm you. This was clearly a negligent and reckless act with a firearm that has no defense. Even if you are the biggest cop supporter he could have hit that other cop. At the bare minimum this cop shouldnt be allowed a Nerf gun much less a real gun.
Heres the bodycam. Just infuriating. After shooting her while trying to shoot a 5 pound dog "because it was trying to attack me" the cops repeatidly say the woman is lying and that it was her dog that scratched her. Then tried to blame it on her for her 5 pound dog getting loose. Even if it didnt hit her that is animal cruelty. How can a 5 pound dog hurt you. Maybe if your naked and you lie down it could bite your testicles. Although clearly this cop has none. This is what we talk about when we say unequal justice. Theres multiple thins this cop did that if anyone else did they would be arrested immediately and be charged.
The human traffic cone Tou Thao gets 57 months in prison for aiding and abetting the murder of George Floyd. He said he had no remorse for his crime, had a clear conscience, and quoted the bible before his sentencing. So I applaud the Judge for giving him an extra 6 months for being an unrepenting criminal. It is still ridiculous that its only 57 months for aiding an abetting murder. If we enhance sentences for crimes committed against cops its only fair that there be enhancements to sentencing for crimes cop commit against citizens. Instead we invent these charges like civil rights violation that have far lower sentencing guidelines than aggravated kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.
Who says he wasn't? Thou clearly was an FBI agent trying to spark a national protest to overthrow Donald Trump. Only bootlickers like you wouldn't agree.
Police in the UK arrest a 16 year old autistic girl for telling her mom that one of the cops looks like her lesbian grandma. **** like this needs to stop being treated as a police officer misconduct and as criminal actions. My first question for the cops would be why did they arrest her and not just give her a criminal citation. The answer is they knew they were full of **** so a criminal citation would have been dismissed and they wouldnt have been able to assault, kidnap, and traumatize the girl. Now the damage is done. That poor girl is probably going to go ape**** everytime she sees a cop now. And the cherry on top is that despite everything being crystal clear about what happened they say they are going to investigate themselves for several months. Say a cop looks like your lesbian gradman equals straight to jail. Assault and kidnap an autistic child equals months long investigation and no immediate arrest. One of these is actually a threat to the community and it wasnt the autistic girl. I wish I could say this is the lowest thing I have seen a cop do but its not. The only good thing I can say about these thugs is if they were US cops they would have beat up and arrested the mom too for objecting. If I was a Judge in this future civil suit I would be awarding that family 10 trillion dollars. 10 million for the incident and th rest of the money for protecting the criminals by not bringing criminal charges immediately . I dont think any reasonable person can see this and think that the autistic girl comitted a crime and that the cops did not. The only thing standing in the way of a conviction is the prosecutor willing to enforce the law.
