reason is they get paid more for drug arrests. They can civil asset foefeiture your car if they find a spec of marijuana. They get federal grant money specifically to target marijuana. Their performance is based on number of arrests made instead of crime rate going up or down. A cop who arrests 19 people for marijuana comes off looking a lot bettwe than a cop who arrests 1 rapist. Theres also the quota system which will never go away no matter how many times the courts rule it unconstotutional because they just use a thesaurus to find another word for it.



When cops say pot legalization makes their job harder what they mean is they will have a harder time reaching their quota. I remembee 1 NYPD cop who had to hide in a closet so he could arrest people because if he stood in plain view no one woupd jump the turnstile.

Not a damn thing, unless that person has done something that otherwise necessitates locking them up. What would you suggest? Take them to jail over a victimless misdemeanor, so the state can pay the cost of their detention and the overhead for the time the cop(s) has to spend processing it? You think that makes sense?

You want local cops playing immigration enforcement, be prepared for less ability to clear violent and property crimes.

So this man has a rare disorder that police knew of. While on the phone he has a seizure and medical staff rush in to help. The doctor orders him taken to the medical area so he can be treated. Whar do the guards do? Put him in an observation cell for 30 minutes. The man continues suffering and begs for help. He is ignored till he passes out. Then they decide to bring him to the doctor, but first they spend 12 minutes changing his clothes. He dies. Medical examiner says the death was unavoidable and IAD said the guards did nothing wrong.



Absolutely disgusting system we have here.

Police beat up a man waiting for a ride after being discharged from the hospital. Things escalate apparently because the man called the officer bro which was quickly followed by a sucker punch from the officer. Cameras save lives. If not for this camera he would have no chance in court.
 



Heres a cop throwing a man head first into a wall. Notice how all the cops react. They rush to help the ****ing officer. If there wasnt a camera you know damn well these officerd would have lied to coverup. DA refused to file charges on the officer. He was fired..... then rehired.....
 



heres a story about what happens when a honest cop tries to expose corruption. The whole police cultute has to be burned to the ground and rebuilt with integrity and accountability.



Upon further investigation this guy is probably a nutjob.

Woman spends 5 months in jail after cops mistake vitamins for opiods. I have posted before showing how these roadside tests are not reliable and its very east for an officer to screw up the test. These tests are so unreliable they arent even admissible in court. Dont worry though, they will just give her taxpayer money and nothing will change and no one will be held accountable. Same ****, different day. Now go bury your heads in the sand and pretend like there isnt a serious problem here.

2 more cops confess to framing black people at the orders of the police chief. If you saw my previous postthis is Biscayne Parl Florida and they literally sent out a memo telling deputies to arrest and frame any black person they found near a burglary so they will keep their perfect arrest record. So far they have found 11 black people framed. But none of these cops will get the time that these people got. For framing these people these cops will get half as long as the people they set up. Thats some bull****. One cop spends 20 years torturing people into confessions in Chicago and gets 4.5 years for "lying about torture". Wtf. A woman working at a state crime lab falsyfies tests to frame people for drug crimes.... and she does 6 months in prison and is out before the people who she victimized have been released. The Baltimore Gun Trace Task Force only got about 20 years. Keep in mind they admitted to carrying realistic toy guns in case they shoy someone and needed an excuse.....20 years... anyone else would be buried under a prison.
 
gotta hold the caller accountable. The neighbor clearly lied by saying he was breaking in. At the least there should be a warning to 911 when they call again. People like this call 911 on a weekly basis.
 



Muhammed Muhammed arrested after trying to hire a hit man to kill a cop who kept writing his buisness tickets for code violation. Originally wanted to maim him with acid. That alone should get him life in prison. There is no ounoshment brutal enough for someome who would attack someome with acid.

police chief and Lt are arrestes for working as truck drivers during their shift. One thing I have noticed is nothing gets investigated like defrauding the government. Look at the Baltimore Gun Task Force. All the things they did, murder, armed roberry, drug dealing, and the main focus of the investigation was overtime fraud. Raping and pillaging a community for 10 years and they get charged with defrauding the government.
