York County grand jury indicts 904 people in one day averaging 39 seconds per case and recommending charges on 100% of cases heard. This was also double and triple the amount of cases heard in previous months.



I am very anti tax but I would pay taxes out the ass to get real investigations of police. No government agency actively runs proactive investigations of police. The only crime they care about catching cops for is if they steal money from yhe government.

Here is hopefully a working link to a Columbia Law Review about the problem with prosecutors and some good suggestions to fix the problem.


One interesting nugget is that prosecutors in NY state attorneys office would play a game where they take a famous person and try to find the most obscure law they could find to charge them with that had the most serious amount of prison time. With every law we give prosecutors more and more power to play god. They can not pursue charges against people they like and comb through thousands of laws to find an obscure law to punish people they dont like.
 



Police chief caught using illegal tactics to encourage more arrests and tickets. This led to massice violations of police pursuit policy that created many dangerous situations. For his crime he got suspended for 2 weeks.......
 
Chicago police dropped off a trailer full of nikes in poor black community to try and lure kids into stealing. I actually dont have a problem with doing this other than the obviois targetting of young black kids. Police really need to be in thr buisness of preventing crime rather than just responding to crime. I love the bait car program and to catch a predator series. The people caught in **** like this have criminal intent. If I leave some expensive **** on my lawn it doesnt justify stealing it because I made it easy. That said Targetting kids is unfair imo, kids have no fully developed their sense of risk in their brain. If this eas maybe about teaching them a lesson I would be all for it but giving these kids a criminal charge increases the chances they will commit crimes in the futuew, not lessen it.

You don’t think Kids know right from wrong? The kids knew what they were doing. There’s kids 10,11,12,13 etc running with gangs and committing serious crimes on a daily basis.
 


cops taze an 87 year old woman who doesnt speak englisj for holding a knife. Cops said tazing her was appropriate and was the least amount of force required... the cops said they were in imminent danger because an 87 year old grandma could suddenly charge them....... seriously.....

Heres a cop getting 20 years for firebombing his supervisors house. Been a cop since 1998....... his criminal conduct didnt just start recently. Many officers probably ignored his crimes because they were against the public. Sure as hell wont be any investigation on why no other cop realized they were working with a psychopath.
 



off duty cop shoots a man in the face. Cameras catch him planting something on him. Then he notices the camera and picks it up. Police do not arrest him and he is still working on modified duty. Now reverse thus situation, if it eas the cop who got shot there is 0% chance he would not be arrested immediately and given an unpayable bond.
 



This is an old one but still proves my point. Woman recording arrest ordered to go inside her house where she cant film. She backs up to her property and continues filming. The cops arrest her saying they didnt feel safe. They say the camera was not related but they didnt feel unsafe from the male standing next to her that was not filming. Later at a meeting of supporters cops came out with a ruler and ticketed any car not exactly the right number of inches from the curb. I am sure thats a coincidence.
 




cops change autopsy report in excessive force case from homicide to accident. No telling how often this happens because the FBI doesnt give a ****.
 



here is a cop while off duty he started beating a 12 year old autostic girl. He was reportedly raining down hammer fist punches on her.
