No one is publicly defending this cop but I guarantee you many cops dont think he should be charged. He has 18 complaints and Amy Klobuchar has declined to press charges against him before. The warning signs were there. Those who defended his criminal behavior before this need to be held accountable. Klobuchar needs to resign her senate seat. The system is built to defend these bad cops and get rid of good cops.

I dont want cops to take a knee. I want their #1 priority to be preventing criminality by their own. They cant say they are law enforcement if they turn a blind eye to crime within their own department. We need proactive investigations of police instead of reactive. We need all officers to get liability insurance so there is an independent agency with a profit motive who will care deeply about keeping the high risk officers off the streets. We also need a massive nationwide crackdown on contempt of cop arrests and retaliation against good police officers by other police officers.

In fact had they arrested George Zimmerman years ago we wouldnt be having this conversation.
So yeah, had they arrested this cop it would have stopped.

Secondly, after MLK assasination half of my city was burned to the ground including family members business'.
Instead of ranting I read and learned "why..." as Hendrix asked " do you wanna burn your brothers house down"

But, you dont read or listen to others so,

Once again, understanding does not mean defending
It is not a gift but a skill to hold two opposing ideas in ones head at a time
Meaning it can be learned
Get to ****ing work and quit embarrassing yourself

This is why the internet is toxic. It makes people lazy

I'd be curious your experience with riots and how you have drawn the conclusions you have drawn

AOC along with others ( I doubt it was her idea alone) advocating Citizen Review Boards and other parallel reforms.

Like health care I expect (R) will oppose it to a man and boogieman AOC for being the face.
Like they have done with Climate Change (Gore), HC (HRC)
and Obama for , lack of a better excuse, being black
Without ever putting forward a constructive proposal of their own
I hate to get political but, that is where we are

I noticed no comment on this. 57 replied that all that had to be done was arrest a cop.

You're sympathizing with this. Outright defending it in my mind.

Luckily, it appears the man did survive.
