Neverending **** the Police thread.

Looks like Floyd may have been victimized by current Houston Police officer charged with first degree murder Gerald Goines.

To be clear, Donald Trump isn't issuing a curfew on NYC.

So if his doing it in DC is tyranny, do you also agree that NYC is tyranny?

Or is it different it for (D)

Let me tell you where people should focus their anger. Not Bozo the Clown in the White House, sure he is pro police brutality but cops arent any more or less aggressive because of what he says. The blame lies with Obama. He squandered his 8 years on this issue. He bent over backwards to kiss their ass and they still treated him like he was the antichrist. The consent decrees were jokes. I have read every single one and it amounted to asking the cops to please obey the law and cops promising to try.

Store owners all the cops to protect their buisness from looters. Cops show up and immediately put the black store owners in cuffs..... this looks like an onion news parody to me though. This **** cant be real.

Last fall Bob Kroll, the head of the Minneapolis police union, appeared at a Trump rally, where he thanked the president for ending Barack Obama’s “oppression of police” and letting cops “put the handcuffs on criminals instead of us.”

can't please everyone I guess

Step 1 in fixing the problem is ending retaliation against the good officers. Too many good cops get bullied out of the job. Little known fact most IAD complaints are by cops against cops.

That's my point. Cops were going to hate him no matter what he did so he should have forced through real reforms.

This person has no chance of sniffing 5% of the vote. At some point we have to ask if people really want solutions or they want to keep doing this dog and pony show every few years where they pretend to care.

That's the thing. A president with presidenting skills would work with the governors instead of berating for not "dominating" the protestors. We need mature adults to be stepping in to calm things down. But we sure as hell dont have a mature adult in the white house.

A reminder that at least one poster here believes there’s no real difference between republicans and libertarians. And that yesterday, the (D) nomination for president said police officers should be trained to shoot at people’s legs instead of their hearts.

Again, anyone wanna place bets on which party votes this down?

You want actual change? This is the best place to start.

Dems will block it though.

Anyone wanna bet?

We shall continue the dog and pony show.

Because Biden, who was in the White House this decade, and in congress for 30 years, is definitely going to change things this time

I have seen the changes Biden advocated for in his 40 years. Doing nothing would be a big improvement for him on criminal justice.

My mind is made up this time around. We cant take 4 more years of this.
