I never said they'll get scraps, i disagree with "Massive haul" depending how massive it is.
I didn't say they won't trade him, just that we certainly won't be the team willing to pay what it takes. And it's going to be pretty massive, if he gets moved.
More likely, they try to build a team for next year, play it out, and try to extend him.

Lugo, alcantara, king are the players going to Detroit. That was arizonas number 4 and 15 prospects while king was not in top 30. None of the 3 are in the top 100. Seems like a good deal for Arizona.

No, the Braves won't get much of anything for Adams. The Yanks are just going to take whichever guy requires the least prospect capital to acquire.
I've been saying tha Adams' trade value is as low as it's always been. Maybe now that fact is starting to sink in?

Doesn't really matter though does it? Adams is a luxury at this point and if I'm the Braves I make a lottery grab. If they can get an Ajax prospect whose taken out of favor, I'm good with that.

We keep Acuna and Albies bc we need cheap position players. We keep them bc we take on awful Zimmerman deal.
Fulmer is the big prize. They get a chance to replace him with allard or maybe wentz. Pache is a top 100 guy at some point. Sims Blair and wisler clear some room, have some value and cheaply eat innings while they lose a lot.
We can then trade Tehran or keep him. If you keep him you deal dickey or don't pick up option.
Rotation would be very expensive. Ff gets expensive. Nobody else is making money but I haven't added up the salaries

I don't think anyone expects a decent haul, depending on what exactly you mean by that. I think we could get something better than Yepez now though. His performance has gone up, therefore it's reasonable to assume his stock has gone up at least a little.
Dbacks get JD, Cubs get Quin...we were already looking up before that. This season is fools gold. I hope Coppy realizes that we realistically do not have a chance this year. I sure hope we are selling more than buying. Next year could be the year...this year just isn't.
The GM and manager may not make it through another losing season. They're probably aware of this, and thus, they'll likely make some trades and/or sign a pitcher or two and try to go for it next year. Then, I imagine they'll hope they can match whatever offer he gets on the market, which isn't likely.
