Billy Beane has given indications he's ready to take Gray into the winter if he can't get package he wants. Someone will have to blink soon.

How do you know Minny didn't value Ynoa more than Burdi? Especially with his injury concerts? B/c a website told you?

The point I made (and it's true) is that increased demand can add to the return. There's really way to debate that. Not all "40 FV prospects" are created equal.

lol you're right. Nobody that does analysis thinks he increases his value, but I'm sure you're right.

You should teach an Econ class at your local junior college.
 
Beane is overvaluing Gray. He may lose this one, due to comparing him to Santana. Santana has an extra year. He has a set cost, which is huge to GM's as it allows them to take risks in other areas. He's also durable and consistent. Quintana is way more valuable that Gray. I think Beane will screw this one up...like we did Teheran last year. IMHO
 
It may mean absolutely nothing, but Albies isn't in the lineup.

Could be a night off. Phillips could be gone as he's coming up or Albies could be outty.
 
Yankees remain favorites. Source says A's are no longer insisting on Torres/Frazier. Seems like they're moving closer per Feisand.

I want no part of Gray. Only way I'd take him is for a package of middle of the road prospects.

I'd love to get Verlander, though.

And we better move most everyone on the roster not named Freeman and the youngsters. Guys like Kemp, Nick, Phillips, Johnson, Suzuki better be on the move.
