Sherman said there's gonna be a run of relievers coming to agreements today.
 
I do find it interesting that the Dodgers weren’t all that close in matching the Mets offer given that they were the team with the best view into his medicals. That team has infinite resources so you would assume finances aren’t the issue here.

It is a bit curious. But I'm just assuming the Mets did what they had to do to outbid them.

They only went to 2 years. But it is interesting for sure.

Rangers pushing hard for Seager

Dodgers can still run a lineup of Smith-Muncy-Lux-Turner-Turner-Pollock-Belli-Betts but the depth is alot worse than it's been in awhile. SP is an issue if they cant get Kershaw back though.

I wonder if they are going to try to reset the luxury tax to make another push next offseason.
