Have we all decided that Duvall is an above average CF now? I'm not particularly well versed in defensive metrics, but his 210 innings there this year were the entirety of his experience there and he just turned 33. I'm not sure how badly I want to be having him be plan A in CF next year, particularly given that the DH is in play now. Feels like everyone has just moved on from Pache, but I fully expect him to start 100+ games next year.
Would love to see a Freeman deal announced at the parade. That would be an incredible move.
Soler is the OF I want back the most, especially assuming DH. Rosario would probably be next, though I would definitely prefer Conforto if given the choice. If we can't bring Soler back, Garcia wouldn't be the worst additional RH OF bat to add.
On the pitching side, I think its risky to only go in with three established guys. You can reasonably expect at least one of them to miss some time during the year, and you don't want to be in a position where you're relying on something like Davidson-Muller-Strider going three of every five days. I'd be looking in the range of Alex Cobb or Alex Wood. Maybe a flier on Zach Davies. Looking at the FA list I saw that Carlos Martinez is only 30, which feels impossibly young for how long he's been around.
Someone said it earlier, but I love the idea of a veteran righty. Graveman, Neris (gross), Knebel, or even Yimi Garcia would check that box for me.
