Official 2022 Offseason Moves Thread

The Dodgers are like thanks for allowing us to spend whatever we want without penalty guys. Thanks.

MLB cann’t have a scrub like Atl win it all again. Gotta get the big market team there championships.

Twins and Rangers make a trade.

Mitch Garver, Ronny Henriguez for Isiah Kiner-Falefa.

Rangers just might shock the world and sign Bryant to play 3B and trade Jung for pitching.

Within the same division, but since that never seems to matter as much anymore they'd make a nice trade partner for Oakland.

Maybe they leave Bryant alone, and offer Jung, Foscue, Josh Smith, and Sam Huff for Chapman and Montas.

I want Freeman back but if this waiting costs us a shot at Olson and the Yanks get him then that really takes the buzz off the title defense.

The longer FF waits the better our odds get, IMO. I don't like waiting either but it just may be fatigue setting in. Maybe he will just show up at Braves' Camp tomorrow.

The lockout ended two days ago. This is the last contract of Freeman's career and something north of $150 million is at stake here. Calm down and let the guy make a decision, geez.

FF had time before the lockout to negotiate also. If Olson comes off the board then we are probably gonna have to over pay Freeman. We can’t really do anything until we know that situation. I’d still give him a take it or leave it offer. Only way he’s getting 150 million from us is with a 6th year and that’s not happening.

AA said things won't get ugly regardless so for all we know he has given FF a deadline. Maybe Chelsea has to be convinced to move. Happy wife, happy life.

Agreed, think it is a sign of movement by the Braves. Just don't understand the reluctance to go six if you have a fifth year on the table.
