Official 2022 Offseason Moves Thread

Soler wants 3-4 years I’m sure. Ozuna trade possible could be a reason or Freeman may be looking like he’s going to LAD and AA knows we’ll need more offense.

I think if FF were going to the Dodgers it would have happened already. I hope I'm right.

I don’t know what the holdup is honestly. At this point all offers should be in.

Probably Toronto. Freddie's mom was Canadian. They are loaded and have more $$$ to spend.

I don’t see a mystery team at this point. I think it’s us or LAD. The Yanks would be the only other team that would scare me.

FF knows he’ll get kind of a black eye if the offers are within 15 million of each other and he leaves. He wants to be the next Chipper but I thought this would have been over a long time ago.

Seems if you spend so much more money than the competition, it would lessen the enjoyment of winning. To the dodgers credit though, they have a crap load of home grown talent

NOTHING lessens the enjoyment, sorry.

Just ask a Mutts, Pirates, Orioles, or Mariners fan.

The Cruz rumor is interesting. Gomez has solid sources with a lot of Latin American players. It makes sense for the Braves. Of course it could be Cruz's camp trying to drive up his price.

Still amazes me that people think Ozuna is a trade candidate.

1.) Exactly what would you give up for 3 guaranteed years of someone who is the equivalent of Cruz on his best days?

2) How long do you think you'd keep your job when he beats his wife again?

Ozuna's as much a trade candidate as Hosmer is - you're either going to have to take a really bad contract back to move him, or you're going to have to give him away.
