Is it my opinion that the south is a backwards racist cesspool stuck 50 years behind the rest of the world? Absolutely, and the majority of the world agrees. Whether or not MLB should have punished the Braves for that is definitely open for debate, and I’ve changed my stance that it was justified…I don’t think it was.
As usual, you can’t look past your perceived victimization. This is a baseball board, and why you insist on only chiming in about politics shows you are completely unaware of yourself.
I can let facts and new information change my opinions. You cannot. You can’t even admit the problems in the south, and instead skew it as the rest of the world victimizing you and your brethren.

Nothing has changed since the day of the first announcement. You called the voting bill Jim Crow laws, which was preposterous then the same as it is preposterous now.
You gave MLB kudos for actually punishing a majority AA city... a team that had nothing to do with said laws.
I'm not the victim here. The city of Atlanta was the victim. The people who had jobs lined up and contracts that were voided were the victims. The Atlanta Braves were the victim. Sanity was the victim. And it was all nonsensical from the start. Anyone who wasn't focused on their virtue signaling at the time should have easily seen how preposterous it was then

Once again, you missed the nuance, which is not surprising. I said "you and your brethren". You are completely incapable of looking outside your "them vs us" mentality because it would require a shred of empathy for people you don't identify with.

In 2021, you were cheering the preposterous punishment because you were ignorant about the issue at hand. In 2021, I correctly called the punishment preposterous, and pointed out the facts that the new GA bill actually EXPANDED voting access, and was more accessible than the majority of states in the country, including Colorado, where MLB moved the ASG too.
Now in 2023, you wanna pretend that the punishment was debatable, and that it was probably too harsh and blah blah, while talking **** to me who was right on the issue from day one.
It's not us vs them. It's about objective realities vs narratives. You fell victim to a narrative that was objectively false, and the people who got punished are the exact people the virtue signalers were screaming about protecting.
Literally nothing has changed in the underlying issue since 2021... the only thing that has changed is the narrative. Do you still believe the GA voting bill is modern day Jim Crow, as you believed in 2021?
