Bill has thrown out 4 of 7

I think it's clear that Milwaukee has fully invested in Billiam Contreras, the catcher. We were in and out of it with him, volleying between catcher, DH and even LF the one time - it was very much about his bat to us. Not that we didn't give him every chance to succeed but there's a clear difference. Good for him and the Brewers!

Both guys in a slump over the last week
or so, but Olson still dominating Freeman on the year. So far, Freeman's K rate is at 5 year low and his ISO is a career low. 100 ABs seems fairly low to make any significant conclusions, but I think it's pretty clear he's entered his decline phase.

has he ever?

He does it in BP quite a bit. He hit like 5 hrs in a row from the right side in BP during a spring game I was at. I even think Ballys tweeted out a video of him talking BP from the right side this spring. He was a successful switch hitter in high school but the Braves wanted him to hit solely from the left side in the pros.

Freeman is 34 and will be 38 when that deal is up and Olson will be 35 when his is up and he’s cheaper. I’ll take Olson all day. He’ll be fine after we see the stats for the year.

Not good on DeGrom….. hate it for him and Texas - too bad NYC didn’t resign him.
And lord we dodged a bullet trying to get him on short term big money deal

The Marlins have won every series so far this year except their 2 series with the Mets and 1 with the Braves. They took a 1-0 series lead on the Cubs last night.

The Braves have won every series except the home San Diego and Houston series’.

I know we all complained about the ump a few nights ago, but this has to be one of the worst umpire score cards i've seen.

Sheesh! Break up the Pirates! On their way to becoming the first NL team to reach 20 wins with a sweep of the Nats today. I've thought the Pirates would be starting an upswing over the next couple of seasons, I just didn't think it would be fueled by the likes of Connor Joe and Jack Suwinski.
