Has not done well in Gwinett since being sent back down. Still early for him and he may contribute with the big club before the season is out, but--and I believe Deester11 and I are in the board minority on this--I thought he was rushed. May not be a big deal in the whole scheme of things.

Surprised Ozzie is in the 30's. I get that he's isn't quite as good overall as many of the guys in front of him, but he's literally the best contract in baseball. A 4-5 WAR 2B that's under team control for another 5 years at an AAV of like 7 million? That's pretty amazing value.
I mean they listed Elly de la Cruz at 6 which is absurd imo.
Yeah I thought that was a bit much. Tools are obviously loud but there’s a lot to give pause too

6 seems way high but I see their thought. If the reds were to trade him right now what would they get. Hard to say with so little track record and such big tools. A lot of risk still too. But he should get a big return.

It’s not common for guys to become fairly consistent 3.5-4 WAR players, even guys with tools like Elly.

I wouldn’t either. People were having a fit over O’Neil Cruz when he came up to with the Pirates and they are very similar players and the league adjusted to him.
