Well, I can be a little ornery occasionally, but I was totally joking in this situation.
 
I doubt he left just over just this or one issue with Cy, my guess is things just added up for him. That is usually what happens when someone gets upset and decides to leave.
 
Phat rarely posts, but he is correct. Cy is a douche and he will tell you he is, like me, I am a douche and let you know it, but you can fight back, we are not going to edit your posts, delete your posts or do anything like that. It is America, goddarnit, free people to say what the f*ck you want without repercussion. I don't have mod powers, well I do, but I promise my friend SAV I wouldn't use them. People of the old board has to know, we are not North Korea, we do not stifle your posts, this board would be boring if we have Pattio in charge as he would told me to delete about 70% of the posts, now would that be fun? You all hate me then, still somewhat hate me now and SAV would have sent me to those political prison camps, not heard of again.

You are correct, but I guarantee you, none of the mods and admins are younger than SAV, they are older and wise, he is just a great architect. Some are cantankerous, for sure, like me, Cy, Thethe, but we are fair. CY is right he will rib you from time to time and he did it to me and we got into, but we understand each other and COG should understand there is no indictment on him, Cy apologized, sincerely. That is was good posters do and Cy done that.
 
If this forum ever gets too crazy, I just go checkout Bill Shanks and Pattio's crazy house and this forum looks a lot better again. :)

We pretty much agree. Plus as you note, Cy did apologize and that is a lot more than the worst offenders would do, IMO.

No one is denying that. COG is old school and would not resort to this. He will come back as this is the only board you can freely express your opinion on anything and I mean anything unless it is porn.

This will piss Cy off as we had butt ugly fights here and on the old board, I respect him and his ways, I really do. He is like that person who is your friend but will get under your skin as well.

Well said. It's easy to get wrapped up in drama here. I've been guilty more times than I'd like to admit. I've always regretted it.
