Official official offseason thread

With the DH I think it makes sense to have a speed guy and defensive replacement as the last spot on the roster. Especially considering the new pick off rule and considering our LF defense.

Lewin Díaz probably feel dizzy already! 😆

On Sept. 20 against the Royals, Correa came up hobbling after a slide into second base. Correa attempted to steal, but as the tag was applied, he appeared to be in agonizing pain immediately upon contact with Royals second baseman Michael Massey’s shin.

“He just hit my plate,” Correa said after the game, per The Athletic. “I had surgery, and he hit it. Just kind of felt numb. Vibrating. So I was just waiting for it to calm down. It was a little scary, but when I moved I knew it was good.”

AA should sign him to 8 consecutive “prove it” one year deals with high AAV. Gets hurt? You didn’t prove you could stay healthy.

Even with it being the holidays, it seems a little weird how quiet things have gotten with the Correa saga.

A Mets fan on twitter said the Braves press release is the blue square of death. Funniest way the Correa saga ends is the Braves press release, unlikely but i'd cry laughing. I think Mets end up keeping him, and i'd hope they do so they dont get Machado or Devers next winter lol.
