Mets are having a brutal week. 7 pitchers injured in the last 7 days
Phillies banged up too. Braves need to buck the trend of slow starts this season

That Diaz injury was way worse (even though you can't see it) than I'd have thought when i read it.
I mean- dropped like a rock and wheelchaired off? Wow.
Reports came out and said it's not an achillies injury.
That’s good. Not that a torn ACL is better. Just eliminates one major injury.
Not that I'm volunteering for either one, mind you, but I do think that a torn ACL is better than a ruptured Achilles.

That’s a huge blow for the Mets. Dude was money for them last year.
Between him and Correa they've basically lost ~7-10 WAR overnight from what they thought they had
As I'm still in recovery for my Achilles..I'd say hell yeah! I ruptured mine and had surgery 3 months ago. Yuck. Not that I'm volunteering for either one, mind you, but I do think that a torn ACL is better than a ruptured Achilles.
recovery time is typically 8 months but there are some cases where the recovery was complete in as little as 6. that being said, that puts him at mid-September, best case scenario. But as we saw with Acuna last year with the ACL, his knee wasn't back all season.
It's a shame we are getting Braves Baseball broadcasts with the pitch clock AFTER Chip Caray left.
Could you imagine how good he would have been in the pitch clock era for us?
