Official official offseason thread

Tatis should no longer be considered a SS. You can only play him there if you don't mind him missing about 1/3 of the games each year. With that contract he needs to be playing 162.

They were hard after Turner so I’d imagine if they got him the chances would have been higher of them trading Tatis. Preller in every interview seems like he’s tired of him.

Yes just like I said earlier, I’m sure they would love to get rid of him but they aren’t trading him for peanuts on the dollar which is what they’d get. It’s not happening.

Padres are pretty much wanting Tatis gone. AA has probably turned over every SS stone in baseball to this point. He knows what it will cost in trade and what the FA’s want. I’m curious where he ends up.

They're moving Tatis to the outfield, has nothing to do with Tatis.

Heaney to the Rangers, 2 years/25 million can be worth up to 37 million with incentives. Opt out after year 1 so he can hit FA next year, smart deal.

I figured they would get Dansby. Ok AA let’s see what you do. I know it’s a dream but I’m hoping for Correa

Wow, can't believe the Braves are willingly breaking apart a championship core with such speed.

Cant blame him for Freeman given that was more agent than player. I think 6/140 is fine but if AA isnt gonna go there, he wont go there. He already said he has the green light to go over the luxury tax if need be. Certainly curious what his backup plan is if Dansby isnt coming back.
