Official Post Season Thread

After seeing who the Pirates have traded away the last few years, especially pitchers, perhaps we should give their GM a call and see who’s available.

Starling Marte would be very interesting to me.

Two very reasonable option years.

I’d then try to move Inciarte in a deal to save a little money and bring Duvall/Markakis back as a platoon. Maybe sign a defensive center fielder like Hamilton or Lagares on a cheap one year deal while waiting for Pache or Waters.

Net payroll add of maybe 6m.
 
The Nats have an early lead on the Dodgers. The Nats are a pretty scary ballclub, but not nearly as scary as LA to me. I'd love to keeping rubbing the "no postseason wins" thing in their face, but I want a World Series and our best chance is through them. Go Nats (gross)

Probably would have a better shot vs Was than LA, nothing goes right when we play in LA.

Kinda hoping it just goes 5 and both teams have to go through the kitchen sink.
 
LA already down 2-0, and this would be a brutal loss for them.

I can't imagine having to win both games and see Scherzer is Game 4 and then a combo of Corbin/Strasburg in Game 5.
 
Dodgers player in a joke of a division. They also slumped down the stretch. It might be an early exit for them. Sand fleas playing really good ball.
 
I’ve been saying that the Nats match up better against the Dodgers than anybody else in the NL. Huge blow for the Dodgers to be a round 1 exit.
