It’s rather enjoyable seeing them lose (even though I like most of the players on that roster).

It's a similar situation to how we've used Fried. We've been fortunate he's been able keep Martinez in check, but it's been pretty bad managing by Snit to put Fried in a position where he's very likely to face Martinez. Had we not been so fortunate, we'd all be calling for Snit's head right now.

You gotta play the matchups as best you can. Corbin was absolutely not the right move there.

Literally any RHP at your disposal. Kike is a career .221/.288/.384 hitter vs RHP compared to .266/.350/.478 vs LHP. Even if you don't trust your BP that well, you gotta play the odds in that scenario.

Nats beat the Dodgers and head back to LA for game 5. Wouldn’t it be something if it were the Cards and Nats in the NLCS.

Who are we fooling. We all know it’ll be LA and Stl in the NLCS and Stl will fold like a cheap suit and we’ll all be like wtf only to realize the Cards used all of their voodoo magic against us.

TB fixin to take it to a game 5. Man it would be wild if the Braves, Dodgers, and Astros didn’t make it.
 
However guys, a 5-game series is never easy. See the Astros, they also sent a pitcher (well, "the" pitcher) out on short rest and they lost.

In case a miracle happens and we advance, we could even face the Nats and then (potentially) the Rays or Yanks.
