it mostly is there to make it hard for the other manager to get a string of favorable platoon matchups when he goes to the pen without burning up a bunch of relievers...it makes a certain amount of sense given the guys out there today

Snit could bat Muk and Mac back to back, but then you can bring in one lefty to take care of both

The Phillies have a really bad defensive outfield. Maybe that will help us out.
I wonder if the Phillies thought they would get Harper when they signed Cutch. Seems like they would have been smarter to find a better defensive OF’er to pair with Harper and Herra.

Isn't that pretty moot now since pitchers have to face a minimum of 3 batters or is that not going into effect until next season?
 
I predict at least 2 fist fights break out in either the dugout or the clubhouse for that Phillies team. Lots of egos/cancers and a manager who has no idea how to handle people.
 
Hopefully Teheran can change the script vs Harper who's owed him in the past. The Phillies 3-4-5 have all hit Teheran well.
