If 30% of the country votes for something, should it become law?

As of a week ago 27% of polled canadians were in favor of the protests. The vocal majority of canadians oppose these protests and are pro mandates. You could argue it's on Canadian courts to strike down the legality as a civil rights type of thing. But that's not what is being discussed.

If a few thousand people showed up and protested for all republicans to leave congress and set up shop in DC should all the republicans leave congress to stop this protest?

What people are losing their rights because it's not popular? What right do you have to not be vaccinated in the workforce? Don't get me wrong, I don't think vaccine mandates are the way to go. I think vaccine incentives are the way to go.

Weren't you just saying the police are justified bc public polling were against the protests?

Canadians have lost all of their rights bc theylir dictator decided to. They are now destroying and stealing citizens property. They are now physically assaulting their citizens. And they are threatening to separate children from their families

That's a hell of a leap of words. You said they should stop the mandates. Majority of canada approves of the mandates. Pretty clear that's what I said.

Canadians don't approve of these protests by large majority. The rights these people are losing is because of prolonged protests that potentially cost canadian and american businesses hundreds of millions of dollars. I think these people should be allowed to protest, I don't agree with what Trudeau is doing. But that being said, I also don't live in Canada and don't know anything about their laws. So I don't choose to talk about it.
