If the league wants to keep this format I think they need to figure out a way to get the top seed or top two seeds a first round bye. There should be incentive for being good in regular season and avoiding this 3 game coin toss crap would do it.

Word here in Minnesota is that Donaldson isn’t starting. They have decided to bring up Alex Kirilloff. Buxton also not starting because the MLB has not cleared him from the concussion protocol.
That's a blow to the Twins. Donaldson really came on strong in Sept.
