PLAYOFFS?!?!?

Expect to see the Dodgers severely out maneuver the Braves in every aspect of the game. They will force several poor matchups every game due to Snit’s ineptitude. Their FO must be licking their chops at the the thought of making Snit look like a 4th grader.

They are also a far superior roster, so they Braves can’t just rely on a talent advantage.

This series is a Ferrari driven by Dale Earnhardt racing against a Mustang driven by Mr Magoo. The only way magoo wins is with some luck, or if the Ferrari somehow crashes.
 
Dodgers gotta fly across the country. And haven't had much rest. Had to use Scherzer for an inning. Then have to fly back across the the country in 3 days. Historically, we hit Scherzer pretty well, but seems like we always get no hit vs Urias, so may be that cancels each other out. At least we don't have to have face Kershaw, who we never seem to hit.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Snit gets some help from AA this series. Snit seemed to have a little extra last NLCS vs the Dodgers, although admittedly there were less decisions to make due to having the DH.
 
Man, looking at the tickets for the NLCS. The Braves should be raking in the money....$150 for an obstructed view outfield seat I paid $20 for earlier this season....$80 for nosebleed seats

The fake strikeout seems like something that would happen to the Braves LOL let's hope it doesn't translate.

I'm not excited it's the Dodgers but I am excited about home-field advantage and if we do find a way to win, it will be so freaking satisfying.

AA said attendance got back to where it was pre Covid and that’s why we made the moves we did at the deadline. Payroll should be up this offseason. Especially with a deep playoff run.

Folks who still love to bitch about Liberty Media seem to ignore that before the pandemic, payroll has been up since Truist opened. If they don't re-sign Freeman, it won't be because they can't.
 
On the checked swing call the Giants radio announcers said he went around and it was the right call, so when I finally saw was not expecting to see what I did - an obvious checked swing.
