When Bedell used to do his sermons at scout I never trolled his threads. Im asking the same from some of you but I guess that's too hard of a task.

You specifically posted the Obama story to troll. It has nothing to do with theme of this thread. Rooting for failure is not a positive feel good story. This thread was meant to encourage.

The kids peacefully assembled a protest for something they felt was right. They organized it using phones and social media and for kids that young to be organizing like this is a sign of strength no matter if you agree with the reason they are. Teens get such a bad name these days for being lazy and entitled that it's nice to see them standing up against authority without provoking violence.

You posting that obama article was pure non sense. If reading that gives you a good warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach similar to the dog story then there's something wrong with your moral compass.

When Obama is gone and people not liking him, makes me happy. Period. America would be better off without him in power. That is a positive thing.

There is no trolling. If the sit in was for something other than about g a y marriage, I doubt you would have posted it.

As for your other stories, I think they are legit positive stories especially about dogs, which I do rescue and find homes for. My wife use to work for the human society until we had kids. While dating her. I helped her with the dogs, cleaning their piss, their s hit, even puke. Not fun, but because I love her, I was willing to help.

In saying that, my friend at work wanted to take her two chocolate cockers to the shelter. I talked her out of it because it was a spurn of the moment decision.

DONT YOU DARE SAY anything about me and my love for animals. It is a sensitive subject to me.

Except I didn't say anything bad about your love for animals. I simply said if a story of failure is something that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling and a smile in the same way as the dog story then you need to reevaluate that.

This has nothing to do with Washington politics. You damn well know Obama is a controversial subject in anything he does. Why post it? ThE story about the kids has nothing to do with Obama. You don't like it fine.

Posting thr Obama story as a "one up" to the kids story is beyond stupid.

No, like I said, if it had something to do that is not g ay marriage I would be happy for it. Yes it is a good story they are standing up for something there is no DENYING THAT, but they are standing up for something I am against. He broke a rule and rightfully got fired, just like the Dook Dynasty guy or whatever they call that show. They are demonstrating against A&E for doing that, but why post it when people like you bring it down because it does not conform to your beliefs.

You do know that people are offended by anything dealing with g a y marriage. Did you think about why they are sitting in before you posted it, knowing Bedell and I and others have an issue with it?

Just like me posting Obama, yes, I did it because the sooner he is gone, the happier this country is. I should have used the Duke Dynasty thing, but I feel you would have been offended and we will still argue about it.

Why should people like Bedell and I have to sit here and let you all gloat on tramping on our beliefs. I might be spiteful in my retaliation but you will know next time some feel good stories do offend some people on grounds like g a y marriage and a bortion. I do not mind g a y marriage per se, I have family members who are, but i do have a problem if it is associated with religion, keep it government sanctioned, not church sanctioned.

I hear stories about this growing up. Our elders were special people and we just nonchalantly cast them aside. I always listen to my gramps and grams about how the neighborhood would help mentoring my dad and the kids in the neighborhood.

My cousin just obtain full of albums of pictures dating back to the early 20th century, I think Okie, Dalyn and Bedell have access to my Facebook and see the pics. It is awesome. Things like this brings a tear to my eye. I owe them so much for how they brought me up.
