I'm going to wait and see how the 2015 season goes before making any judgment on whether Gonzalez should return in 2016 or not. Thought I have at this moment is that he'll be back unless the Braves really bomb this season. When I say bomb, I mean winning less than 75 games.

I actually think this is a more important point than just saying "Fredi sucks." Even if you don't think he sucks, what has he done to warrant being extented? Last year ended so poorly, and yet he's only may be rewarded for his collapses?

No worse than Cox. The talent he had there was no excuse for one championship. However he has somehow escaped criticism from Braves nation.

I have no time for people who think Fredi is "no worse than Cox." It's one of the most ridiculous things someone could say. And escaped criticism? Please. Many of the same people who defend Fredi **** all over Cox on a regular basis.

On balance you and others here put too much on the manager. They don't hit, pitch or field. You must not remember how Cox pitched Mike Remlinger into the ground or any other member of the pen that was having a decent year. He also had a tendency to rely too much on veterans. Greg Norton, anyone? Finally, he managed as if the Braves were an AL club. Always waiting on three run homer. Never using speed at all even when he had it. Anybody could've managed the Braves in the Big Three's heyday even me or you...
 
Also i disagree with the idea that we should just keep Fredii while we suck and then replace him once we are good.

Get rid of him now, get a young manager that can get to know these young kids and help them develop into a good team by 2017 or 18.
