I mean the Braves did that after the first time and it didn't amount to shit. Timing does matter for hitters but in the end players just need to perform.
 
As far as the big bucks teams go, I mind the Dodgers the least. Of course, If "Walking Eagle" Tommy Lasorda were still managing, I would vote Yankees.

Former Braves' minor leaguer Justin Dean playing as a late-inning replacement for the Dodgers.
 
Watching the absolute filth these playoff teams roll out of the BP inning after inning makes it painfully obvious how far the Braves BP has fallen behind the top contending teams. I just watched a guy named Vargas for the Ms throw a 97 mph cutter for a K in the 11th inning, and the announcers didn’t seem overly impressed…called it a “little cutter in there”.

Fox Sports radar is usually 2-3 mph faster than real speed. But your point still stands.

Well, we also saw Montero crap the bed but as Sav says, your point still stands. I'm not seeing an Enyel De Los Santos type coming out of the pen for these teams.

They used to have the AL or NL start day 1, then both leagues day 2, then day 3 the other league.

Since the wild card series was added they do day 1 of the LDS on the same day both leagues then day 2 they alternate each year which league has day 2 off.

I'm still furious in 2023 when we had 5 days off, 1 day off between G1 and G2 and another between G2 and G3 and Snit was still using Tonkin Chavez in high leverage to save the best arms that were already well rested... so idiotic.

We’re only getting two games today.

Here’s an idea: 2 games Thursday, 4 games Friday, 2 Saturday, etc.

An off-day after one game with no travel is idiotic.

Also, there should be no off-days for the Wild Card round teams unless they sweep the series. Play it Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

The reason they gave monday off was to not run against Monday Night Football and just incase a tiebreaker for division or wild card was needed for a game 163.
