I mean, being a bad baseball player isn't fun. I'm sure Profar wants to be good. Yeah, he got the money, but I imagine he actually wanted to play good ball for a winning team as well. Being good > being bad.

I think that a second positive test should make your contract voidable at the team's option. If you're going to miss a full season, it materially changes the terms of the deal and as such the team should have an out.

Sure, but the point of doping is to play well and then get your bag. And once you reach your desired level of physique/muscle mass, you can maintain that level (or near it) without doping if you actually put in the work. Quite clearly he wasn't willing to put in that work.
