PUIG TO THE BRAVES

lol if you think people are envious of someone based solely on how they look, then yikes. only one person here is still in high school.
i'd rather not be married to a vapid piece of garbage, no matter how outwardly attractive she is.

looking at expected stats, Puig pretty much is what his stats showed.

slightly better than average hitter with above average power.

At 29 and after being in stats driven orgs, probably not particularly likely to see growth. Maybe a one year deal will be motivating.

I called it when everyone thought he was going to become the 2nd coming of Christ after his rookie year.

.270/.333/.481, 9 HR, 10 2B, 31 RBI, and a 110 OPS+ according to ZiPS.

I'll happily take that and whistle all the way to the bank. As we've been discussing (and the article mentions) you don't need to move the needle much in what's going to be a wild two months - and we got the last player that's left who's probably the most capable of moving any needle at all.

Plugging him in, moving Ozuna to DH full-time, and creating an Inciarte/Duvall platoon makes us better than we were before Markakis decided to stay home.

The idea that Ronald Acuna will immediately latch on to Yasiel Puig and emulate all his behavior is kind of funny and pretty racist. Acuna's the star here. He doesn't need a mentor.

i mean it's objectively true she lies constantly.
being able to stand up there and gaslight the nation is wild.

Most politicians at that level or people working for them in this instance are essentially actors imo. Their speak and actions are for their base and nothing more.
