Now Rosenthal is reporting that the Braves never actually reached an agreement with Puig, they were still working out details and awaiting his COVID test results. He says they’re turning their attention to a left handed bench bat now. Most likely Braves wanted someone who could come into ST right now and gear up for season. Puig may not be able to join the team until the season starts. They may circle back to him then, but they’re off him now.

Braves should look to a lefty and employ a double platoon with Freeman back. Duvall/Ender and Riley/whoever. Short season and expanded rosters? Need to optimize advantages as much as possible.
